A new drawing I did today. I haven't painted much snowy landscapes, but it was fun to try it.

For this final illustration I used some of my own photos to add some of the texture details.

Desert hideout

I really wanted to paint something in the desert, so finally I did. So much fun colors to play with, and I wanted to try using more broken colors, with the blues on the cliff, and even the slight reds in the sky.

My film this year is set in the desert. Here's a preview of the almost finished set. It's Maya geometry, painted with my 2D paintings for the textures.

I keep trying to do environments with a limited palette, then strike in a few complements here and there, like the reds in the bottom.

Can't get enough of forests and jungles

It's been a while since I tried painting in a more realistic style, so I wanted to try that again.
